Cynnal Cymru-Sustain Wales is a membership organisation that promotes sustainable development and raises awareness of good practice within Wales. It is an independent, not-for-profit company, limited by guarantee.

In November 2000, the Welsh Government produced its first Sustainable Development Scheme, which led to the establishment of Cynnal Cymru.
