Charter Network

In the Welsh Government's Sustainable Development Scheme, One Wales: One Planet, we said that we would encourage and enable other organisations to make sustainable development their central organising principle. The way we intend to achieve this is through our Sustainable Development Charter. 

The Charter network helps organisations from Wales make sustainable development central to all that they do. Organisations from all sectors that sign the Charter make this commitment. 

Charter signatories also: 

Challenge themselves each year to do things differently as a result of signing the Charter; and Agree to share their best practice of what they currently do to support sustainable development. 

This forum will help the network: 

Improve how it works together; 
Share best practice; and 
Develop new ideas that support sustainable development.
