IWA Conference: Re-thinking Environment Management in Wales

Conference on the projected merger between the Environment Agency Wales, the Countryside Council for Wales and the Forestry Commission Wales. The Welsh Government consultation document, A Living Wales, made the case for a more joined up approach to environmental management in Wales. This conference will explore the benefits and risks of institutional change, the interests of different stakeholders including business, and how success might be measured. It will also address some of the practical and policy issues - including options for the governance of a new body.
