Throughout the summer of 2008 and 2009, we were helping people to find out more about sustainable living and encouraging them to make a pledge to tackle climate change with our campaign, 'Give us your small change.'
The campaign began in 2008 with a competition launched by S4C's weather team and pupils from Cwm Glo Cwm Gwyrdd at our sustainable house at the National Eisteddfod.
Through the competition, we asked people to pledge, in writing or drawing, what they’ll do to tackle climate change, and we were overwhelmed by the number of pledges we received!
Congratulations to the winners of the Give Us your Small Change competition 2009! Carrie John of Fishguard won the amazing first prize of a Welsh Black Rocking Ram, kindly donated by the Rocking Sheep Company from Harlech; Demi Louise Morgan was the second prize winner who received a family day out at a National Trust venue, and the third prize - a box of ethical goodies - went to joint winners brother and sister Medi and Bryn Jones from Ynys Mon.
