Do you have a great idea for a behaviour change project? If so, now is the time to get your application in.
The third round of the Welsh Government’s grant scheme for action on sustainable living ends on 1 September 2011, and this is the final date for applications in this financial year.
Launched in April, the scheme supports projects that help people make lifestyle or behaviour changes for more climate-friendly living; the scheme is open to public, private and voluntary sector, however individuals cannot apply.
Cardiff Cycle Challenge and the Dref Werdd initiative in Blaenau Ffestiniog have already received grants this year, and the second round of applications recently closed in July.
There are also on-going training grants available for groups who wish to receive training on behaviour change or pay for a fact finding visit to an existing behaviour change project.
The Welsh Government’s Support for Sustainable Living Grant Scheme will make available almost £750,000 in grants over the next three years. It is administered by Environment Wales and Cynnal Cymru-Sustain Wales.
