The Welsh Centre for International Affairs (WCIA), now has a vacancy for an Education and Engagement Officer

EDUCATION AND ENGAGEMENT OFFICER

Salary: NJC Scale, Point 26 - £22,221

Location: Cardiff

Full time contract (37 hours per week), for 1 year initially

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to engage a wide range of people in the WCIA’s work on global issues. Your role will be in two parts: delivering an established programme of activities for schools and colleges through our educational arm, CEWC; and organising stimulating public events for adults.

You will be a natural communicator with experience of working with young people, and preferably with a teaching or youth work qualification. You will also have excellent organisational skills and a genuine interest in world affairs which you can use to inspire others. This is an opportunity for you to enable people in Wales to develop a deeper sense of global citizenship.
