EDUCATION AND ENGAGEMENT OFFICER
Salary: NJC Scale, Point 26 - £22,221
Location: Cardiff
Full time contract (37 hours per week), for 1 year initially
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to engage a wide range of people in the WCIA’s work on global issues. Your role will be in two parts: delivering an established programme of activities for schools and colleges through our educational arm, CEWC; and organising stimulating public events for adults.
You will be a natural communicator with experience of working with young people, and preferably with a teaching or youth work qualification. You will also have excellent organisational skills and a genuine interest in world affairs which you can use to inspire others. This is an opportunity for you to enable people in Wales to develop a deeper sense of global citizenship.
Closing date: Wednesday 4 July 2012 (5.00pm)
Interviews: Thursday 12 July (Cardiff)
Application packs can be downloaded from www.wcia.org.uk.
